The Benefits of Being Green

Anyone who knows about green environmentalism knows that the major benefit of going green is a cleaner planet. From there the benefits of green break down into two categories: consumer and business. For all, health, well-being, balance and satisfaction stand as the topmost achievements, trickling down to cost savings that come from the healthier lifestyle shift, from savings in product to savings in health and medical costs to savings in the amount of waste that’s transported to the landfill.

For the consumer the benefits of being green have to do with being environmentally responsible. As far as a company it’s all about doing the right thing and that means being 100 percent green down the line – no greenwashing – and no spin on the purported green properties of a product. Some companies claim to be green but end up violating the consumer’s trust through questionable endorsements, adding jargon to packaging that makes no sense, or making an irrelevant claim on a product – emphasizing a tiny detail that might be green when everything else that went into making is far from green.

As an example: A brown bag appears to be more environmentally friendly than a white bag, which has been bleached, but in fact, it is not that significant. People often claim to be using 100 percent recycled paper but in some cases its difficult to obtain proof. At GreenDustries, we track and document through the entire process and supply chain.

At the end of the day, the major benefit at GreenDustries is the added value we bring to the marketplace. Our environmentally safe packaging products are truly made from 100 percent recycled paper. Does this cost us more? Yes it does, but we offer our products at a competitive price which underscores our commitment to the industry, customers and the planet.

Customers can benefit from doing business with GreenDustries because of our stated goal to be environmentally and socially responsible and accountable. Those aren’t just words. Through our products we provide tangible proof of the advantage we can bring to the packaging industry. By rethinking the box we have cast aside old concepts to recreate and reinvent the way in which our fast food customers provide products to the public. This is a benefit we can all live with.

  4. I am really loving the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues? A few of my blog readers have complained about my blog not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any advice to help fix this problem?

  5. The subsequent time I learn a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one. I mean, I know it was my option to read, however I truly thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you possibly can repair when you werent too busy looking for attention.

  6. My developer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on a number of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
